The sharpest knives are words of truth
The most piercing blades from observing tongues
Yet the sharpest of all
Is the one that you don't want to hear the most
That you can not live up to the title you were supposed to
Or that you can not fulfill the title you were given
That perhaps maybe not everything is about you only
That maybe there is a truth you haven't found out quite yet
Yet you battle with defense such as none other
A mouse trapped in a corner with little to no cover
But no matter how you struggle or how you fight
The outcome is always the same: the other person is right
So lay down your arms and cut loose your pride
The hardest lessons are the hardest for a reason
So though you did not live up to any of the titles given or expected
You may still live as one that is the most respected
