Go Ahead

by Bri   Apr 14, 2007

Go ahead,
Go sit in your corner,
Because the world and we all,
Revolve around you.

You cry as if,
Your problems are that bad,
When I have been through far worse than you.

You look at me,
Like I am defying your orders,
When I never agreed,
To be part of your reign.

You think I am weak,
And defenseless to you,
But I am far stronger,
Than a meak person like you.

You scold me sternly,
You grab my wrist,
But you have no power over me,
You'll surely rot in hell.

I wrote this for you,
To say i do not care,
What you have in store for me,
It's good to share.

You are not my authority,
Nor are you loved,
Because I no longer care for you,
If you try to get close to me,
You'll just be shoved.

So go ahead,
Rot in your corner,
I will not show fear,
You can beat me,
And scold me,
But I've already shed tears.
