Daddy's Girl

by Just Another Kid   Apr 14, 2007

When I was a baby I sat on your knee
When I was three you played with me
But the years went by and you started to slip
Right between my finger tips

The day that you left
Was the day that i cried
I wanted you to know that you were my hero
But the day that you left the kids starred and pointed

They tell me things that I don't want to hear
They tell me things that I don't want to be true
But deep down I know that they are

I just want you to know your still my hero
And that i don't care what the other kids say
You are my dad and you'll all ways be mine
I will love you all ways
