The suffering grasp of heart

by Terry   Apr 14, 2007

I look into your eyes like the depth of thee ocean
While your hand is closing to have a grasp on my heart and soul
i pray we last and grow old
Threw weather warm and cold together we stand with our story untold
Not knowing the obstacles which lie ahead
For life is optional
but without you my life is an impossible task
as my soul grows old our love lies in the past
for your grasp grows week
as we hardly speak
we are at the departure street
which is hard to encounter as my emotions devour me hourly
what a coward of me to let you essence shower above me that i thought of as lovely
For i am left with a shattered broken heart
which starts to provoke my smarts
as i ponder why we're apart
i thought life was bliss
with a kiss so smooth and dark
i told my self life was over but it didn't even start
