Sweet Angel

by Sydney   Apr 15, 2007

He was her sweet angel,
through the hard times she had
He was her luminous savior,
every time she was sad

He held her close
He wiped her tears
He would whisper softly
"my sweet love"
into her ears

He was everything she had
What she loved
What she cherished
Until that cold rainy morning,
when everything perished

She awoke to a single red rose,
brushing against her skin
It had a note saying how sorry
he was,
that it had to end

On that cold rainy morning
she lost her angel
She lay alone that night
crying herself to sleep

She heard
a gentle whisper saying
"please my Sweet love,
do not weep"

It was her sweet angel
who came back to save her
For the night had grown old
and turned faithful

She lay still and breathed
her last sigh
As for the next moment
she waited to die

She saw a light
It was her sweet angels eyes
Rescued by him
from her deep despair
Spoken just with his gentle eyes
Forever,
she was never alone and always by his side
