He brushed a tear
away as the doctor
continued to say
"were sorry but theres just nothing we could do anymore"
she walked away
and there next to the old
hospital bed he lay
looking at the love of his life
she looked so beautiful
as she always did
it didn't seem true
but it was
he got up and wiped away all his tears
