Do Not Yield

I've fallen in and out
of love so many times
that I get sick of
being used and led.
One can only take
so much pain in one's life
and sooner or later
one must give up.
Though my time has come
I shall not yield
but rather stand strong
in the face of defeat.

    It flowed well and had a simple structure that added to the clarity of the simple message. i likes the sense of hope and resolve at the end great poem
