Ode To Lindows

by RainbowSlider   Apr 15, 2007

Oh, Lindows you were to be so sweet.
Perfect Linux kernel; An awesome feat.
But, alas, you were too beautiful, dear.
Too perfect for Windows; I shed a tear.

We had such hope that you could fly.
But they gave up early and let you die.
Oh, my fallen angel; My true one hope.
If only they would have let you elope.

But you were so naive and susceptible.
And Windows was God and corruptible.
A match made in lonely Silicon Valley.
Lost to us in some vacant blind alley.

I alone will remember you with pride.
You computed; But; Alas, you died.
A vision in programming altered.
But to me you never once faltered.

Why, oh, why did the Gods transgress?
And left you in such a awful mess?
Tron would have loved you, dear one.
Rest in pieces; Their fun is so done.
