Paradise Within

I have seen Paradise within your eyes,
As it radiates to me some blessed mirth;
No longer do I need to question why,
For it is my young heart’s glorious rebirth.

Like the freshness of the cool, morning breeze,
I have seen Paradise within your eyes.
I prayed as I bent down on my knees,
“Lord, was it late for me to realize?”

Blazing blissful sparks in your eyes surmise,
As the faint whispers of my heart reverb.
I have seen Paradise within your eyes,
Under the sunlit sky, I’m unperturbed.

Languid loneliness and despair drowned me.
At the time I bid my love with goodbyes,
But because of you, I’m finally free-
I have seen Paradise within your eyes…
