Twisted Repentance

by Georgi   Apr 15, 2007

Loves enemy,
The thrill of deceit;
The one time sensation I couldn't defeat.
Loves enemy,
The fake satisfaction,
Of lust,
Desperation;
A blinding attraction,
Judge me,
Condemn me,
This useless addiction,
Before I rely on my own cruel affliction,
Give me my sentence,
Oh twisted repentance,
Condemn me,
For brushing my heart with denial,
Oh God,
Please will you give me my trial?
'Till then,
I lay down,
With bitter desire,
My truth,
I pray it might carry me higher.
Sweet love,
Will you take me?
Trust me?
Believe
In the beautiful web that our hearts interweave.

    After reading that other wonderful poem of yours, I just had to take a look around at your other stuff. I really like this a lot. I don't usually go for poems that are just in one big stanza. Call it a personal preference. However, this is just so well written that I have absolutely no criticism of it whatsoever.

    Brilliance. A joy to read.
