WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT

WHEN THE TIME IS RIGHT

I was almost persuaded to let you flea from my life
After pondering my pain I want you for my wife.
It's true I was slow to wise up and mature
But I know I love you of that I'm sure.

I'll stop my gambling and racing fast cars
Staying out late with friends in bars.`
I'll plant trees, flowers and a garden too
Buy us a cottage and make love to you.

I'll give you diamonds and cook you meals
Pinch your bottom to see how it feels.
I've won love's lotto and all has changed
Our wedding and honeymoon we must arrange.

When the time is right we'll add babies to our home
Live out our years never lonely and alone.
I pose this question with a anxious heart
Will you marry me till death makes us part?
