About life on the other side
To all the people out there
That will die tonight in the rain
And to all out there that will share that pain
To all the starving people
Not weighing a pound and
To all the those poverty stricken
Living city bound
To all the crack addicts
Giving their all for just a dose
And to all the wannabes out there
Giving it their most
To the crying teen age mothers
And the lonely child support paying dads
For the ones who died without a name
And for the poor souls going mad and
To anyone out there
That has ever felt a kind of pain
My hopes and prayers go out to you
As I sit here in the rain
