The best of friends the worst of words 4-15-07

by Priest   Apr 15, 2007

Your eyes are open they can't handle the light about to flood in.
The wake of what this is, you realize it starts to fade away.
You wont find out what else you need, until the moment it's gone.
A friendship once loved and valued turns the clock.
It fades away and these shadows will remain.
I come to you now as myself.
Remember i can see right through you.
It comes right back into your face.
It feels so f-ing wrong.
So put these lips to this bottle, and taste my kiss.
Feels so awkward. Just like the first time.
You've lost the words.
I drink to forget.
I drink to forget this moment.
I know my faults you've forced me to see.
The Best of friends says the Words to burn holes through confidence.
I don't know why you say such things.
The best of friends, the worst of words.
Find yourself before you sever the ties.
It's just not my style you know I know that this someday will subdue.
To rip the scars just to form the new.
