An Instant

by Painted By Colors llInLovell   Apr 15, 2007

There is an instant
at summer's start
when strands of springtime
still bind the heart
so the moment
each girl must know
a time of clinging
and a time of letting go

Not quite a woman
nor yet a child
with plans unstable
and dreams gone wild
truths grow blurry
and loved ones strange
oh its lonely
when seasons change.

Wow...this is such a fantastic poem...
i love the message in it...
    i especially love the part:
    "Not quite a woman
    nor yet a child
    with plans unstable
    and dreams gone wild"

but the whole poem is just great
    5/5
