My best friend....died

Today I went to a party
And started drinking
I didn't say anything
And didn't do any thinking
I knew it was wrong
But I got in the car
I started driving
and went very far
A few minutes later
I crashed into a tree
The next thing I saw
Was doctors looking at me
I asked the doctors
Where is my friend
The told me her life
Has come to an end
I can't believe it
She is not alive
All because I'm the one
Who had to drive
I was suppose to be
The one to leave this Earth
But it's too late
your buried under dirt
I promise you that
I won't drink again
And even if you don't forgive me
You're still my best friend
