If I could capture time

by Rachael   Apr 15, 2007

If I could capture time,

I would reach out my arms
to embrace the breeze
and lock her away,
where angels breathe,
The place in which
I saw you last
would be here and now
and the moment would last
Forever and always
as I held you close,
never too scared or
afraid to let go.
But she has always had
her own free will
the illusive butterfly
won't be captured until,
I meet you again
in this life one day
when all the lost years
will fall away
But 'till then I must
go on chasing the breeze
but she never sleeps.....
and she wont come to me.

So beautiful.. That was amazingly written m'dear.
It had a wonderful rhythm that almost made it feel like a song
    Well done
