Room Next Door

by Never Let Go   Apr 16, 2007

Listen to their words,
And their tone.

I sit quietly in sorrow
Listening to their arguing.

Slowly sipping the beer selfishly taken.

But i do nothing.
Silence is all I have to offer.

But then once she has faded and he needs a new target
My confidence will be stripped.

I am the new target
Not for long but just long enough.

Drinking away my problems.
Not standing up for my mother.

His mood will pass like a wave
But will come back.
