Somewhere New

So here I am,
Left on the side of the road,
I have no where to go,
And no where to run.

No one knows my name,
I swear I won't survive,
But something deep inside,
Is pushing me on.

I have to keep going,
Or I'll lose myself again,
Don't let go,just don't let go,
Don't slip into that darkness.

They'll miss me,I hope,
Who the hell am i kidding?
I'm no one in this world,
Just a meaningless speck of flesh.

The pressure on my chest,
The tears running down my face,
Make this all go away,
I think I'm going to run.

I'll run as far as I can,
Until my feet cannot carry me,
I can't take this anymore,
It's just too much.

I have no strategy,
No plan in mind,
I just need to leave,
Before I lose control.

Please join me,
I can't do this on my own,
I need you there,
To hold my hand.

Hold my head high,
As I fall and stumble,
This life is so worn,
And so beaten down.

Run with me,
As I leave this town,
This worthless place,
To find somewhere new.

Somewhere I can breathe
Somewhere I am loved
Somewhere I belong
Anywhere but here.

    Wow, you really conveyed your emotions through this piece, it was raw, and very expressive. I think emotion is real important to have in writing, and you difanlty capture that. It also flowed well, fluent, and it was easy for me to read, and understand aswell.

    Such raw emotions were beautifully expressed through this piece. I was rather enchanted by reading it, and I'm glad that it flowed fluidly and that none of the lines seem unnatural. Overall, 'twas a good write. Well done upon writing such a poignant piece. all the best and take care.
