Opposites Attract

Opposites Attract

In the place where the darkness meets the light
And all differences are seemingly out of sight
The point that a philosopher has dreamed of
While the hated silently searched for love

Noise was heard by all of the deaf ears
Timelessly traveling through light years
Creation just happened in six sacred days
In a garden where a sly serpent plays

Good and evil are hopelessly bound to meet
To Taste together the bitter and the sweet
The tongue that uttered the worthless lie
Was never born to the lowly earth to die

Many poor souls they must purge
Where the opposites meet and merge
It is not fiction that defies fact
When most opposites tend to attract

I love how flawlessly your poems flow. It's wonderful. Everything rhyme is practically spot on, too.

^ This stanza was my favourite, especially the first two lines. I like the sinister atmosphere it creates.

    Nice work.
