A search for heaven..

A cold dark and a gloomy day
I went on searchin for heaven
where all the truth and peace stay
the only wish in my heart hidden.

Went on searchin so deep
crossed even the path so steep
never thought what destiny bore
my heart into fragments it tore.

Kept on travelling far away
hoping to meet my dream fay
i had gone beyond the borderline
went on searchin for truth divine.

When all at once i lost my way
knowing not what made me stray
turning back was impossible
to move forth i was unable.

Even though I stagger forward
leaving the world quite absurd
breaking dreams which someone had woven
Once I went on searchin for heaven......
