Children's Playground

by Jenni Marie   Apr 16, 2007

Feeling content as I sit here
Watching children play
Sunshine beaming upon everyone
Everyone is happy today.

Watching dogs bound by
Launching Frisbee’s in the air
Smiling to myself quietly
Gentle breeze blowing my hair.

Gazing at flowers blooming
Grinning at the cloudless sky
Feeling totally at ease
As on this grass I lie.

Hearing the tinkle of water
Smiling at the stream that’s near
Surrounded by children and nature
There is nothing left to fear.
