Look inside

So I cry and I cry
Feeling so hopeless inside
My heart has sank too low
And my soul is trying to hide.

My heart got broken
On that dreadful night
Everything changed between us
And you took away my light

A shattered soul remains
Broken, bruised and torn,
I'll never heal quite right
Because my heart had been too worn.

I look at whats around me
A broken childhood and dreams,
A perfect life to some
But nothing's as it seems.

Its lonely on my own
Don't believe in him above.
Background where there's nothing
Not even a home with love.

You might think that I am happy,
Because I appear so strong.
Where nothing gets me down,
But you see, thats oh so wrong.

My muscles ache and my heart torn
I have nothing left to fight
So just take a deeper look,
