Ode to the Grilled Wonder

by Lonesomeme   Apr 16, 2007

Grilled cheese how you make my mouth water
Your crispy brown shell makes me want no other
Your gooey cream filled filling
Smashed between two buns
Makes me think
Of having so much fun
Nibbling your edges just so slightly
As to taste your flavor, so inviting
I savor and I contemplate
What other things
Could possibly taste this great
The sweetness of the bread
The sticky cheese mess
I could eat you all day long
I'd never get tired of eating you up
I'd blend your goodness and drink it from a cup
Though I love you, this is true
I love you even more than Elmer loves glue
