Dreamland

She stood at the end of the moon,
And looked up at the stars.
She looked down at the earth,
That now seemed so far.

She danced away her worries,
She danced away her fears.
She danced all the pain away,
That made her shed tears.

She smiled at the darkness,
Because it made her feel whole.
In all those times of anguish,
To be there was her goal.

She sang a simple song,
That she made up right then.
Singing that the moon,
Was now her best friend.

She laid down on the moon,
Right down in that sand.
Wishing that she could stay there,
Right in her dreamland.
