Remember the Past<3

I lay on the grass
And stare up at the stars
the crickets chirping loudly
And the noisy cars.

the stars bring back the memories
That we had shared
the times when we'd been happy
The times when we were scared.

Those memories were the greatest
With just me and you
Our love for each other
Became stronger as it grew.

But one day our love was broken
It was taken from my grasp
Now all I have to remember
Is the love gone with the past.
