Day in a life

Day and a life of a soldier
by April

It is early morning.
All i see is blood pouring.
Life flowing from th lifeless bodies.
I cant see earth for miles.
On the account on so many bodies.

As the day goes on all i can hear.
Is guns blasting.
The sound is like breaking glass.
The flash of light that lights up the sky.
Reminds me of the northern lights.
I miss the twinkle in your eye

At the end of the night.
I am like a rabbit in the whole
Still hearing the blast of the guns.
Echoing through my ears.
To tired to stay awake falling asleep.
To be awoken several times of the night thunder.

"I miss the twinkle in your eye"

Wow. This is the one line that I just really fell in love with. Although a sad yet true piece, it was definetly a great poem.

    Take care.
