He Loves Me

I cry when i need you
i cry when i feel i don't
i cry when I'm empty
when i feel like a dump

you didn't have to watch me
you didn't have to care
for you listen to the words of our father
and your life, you did spare

i care when I'm sad
i care when I'm glad
that the Jesus loves me
with all the disappointments of me

so i cry
you listen
i whine
you make decisions
i didn't know i would be here
but you laid the plan there
so sometimes i do get shaken
by you love
but i know
my lord loves me

*i know that this poem ain't the best, but i was inspired and i had to write*

    You say that you know this poem isn't the best... And you're right. But rather than put yourself down, right off the bat, may I recommend that when you write you save it to your PC before posting it here, then review it a couple of days later? I aim to be helpful to our club members, but what you've said about your own poem is true.

    Plus, I note from your profile you're a New Yorker. I should perhaps point out that in England the phrase "when i feel like a dump" means "When I feel like going to take a crap"! Ahh, the language barrier! ;-)
