Wow, Charisma, I felt like you were writing my story. I don't know if this is true or fictional but it's very touching. Almost like you are giving advice. Wow, I almost feel like you are opening my eyes. I don't know what else to say.

"Like a moth to the flame
I see the ruin up ahead.
But still I go on the same
Walking straight to my death."
this stanza is a beautifull yet chilling summary of how love is you've done a wonderfull job :)

This was so beautifully written!
Such a great opener with each stanza better than the last.
The flow was flawless and I love the ending.

"Why must this be a battle?
Why do I only see your best?
My heart looks for the good
And says, "Leave out all the rest.""

That's love all right. You sound like you're speaking from experience..

what all my friends say about my boyfriend,
Lol. I really realted to this, especially in the stanza...
"My heart is painting pictures
Of a perfect life with you.
My mind is saying, "NO!"
Oh, what am I to do?"

My heart does paint pictures of a perfect life,
although my head screams no,
and it's so confusing!
Hahaa, know that you're not alone, Darling.
