You

by Jez   Apr 17, 2007

You have known but half through all these years
This is the last chance for the hidden side to wake up
A chance to show what lay beneath the makeup
Behind that drawn on smile
Before I start I must make it clear
You are worth more than you imagine, every tear
You are but the stitches in my suit
The reason behind the show
I am Both clown and coroner
both sides in one contender
The act the fact all in one pretender
The clown and show for you
The coroner is the karma for such idiocy, the knock-back of reality
He twists every emotion raw, A Jest to dissect
Every little emotion laid out on the floor, insanities, insecurities he probes for more
But the clown always returns
to me its just one last show over and over again
the effort i put in is infinite
just showing i care

to you i can imagine i am a novelty
in all honesty i completely understand
i no I'm not the best of gods property
but you are my creators
you have set me free

No waste of tears through mornings woe, for maggots shall return me from whence i came
for tears wont stop there life's game
and Now no name shall rot with me
the love for you will be cherished eternally, but yet again no complete emotional surrender as forever i shall be
As i want, in your mind, the great pretender

Very good first poem, I enjoyed it very much. It was well written and organized and like most first poems was excellent. I believe everyones first poem is their best poem and their most important poem. 5/5 Keep up the good work.
