But I wasn't a Bird

by Brie Anna   Apr 17, 2007

I was standing up straight the night I ended it all
I was in store for a very long fall
I knew what I had to do and there was no turning back
My pain screamed so loudly happiness is what I lacked
So someone yelled I love you please donâ??t do it
So I decided to come back but my foot slipped
The only thing that ran through my mind was ouch Iâ??m falling
I couldnâ??t help it but I started bawling
Then I hit the ground
My body was sore
Then my friend came running through the door
She ran to where I lay, and started to cry
If only she got there sooner then I would still be alive
I fell 47 stories I felt like a bird I could fly
But I wasnâ??t a bird and humans canâ??t fly so instead of living I died
