Shyness

by Coeur Cassa Sage   Apr 18, 2007

Shyness takes over
As you look them in the eyes
Scared of what to do
Not knowing if your love is true
Afraid to try something new
But still she waits for you
To do what no one else would do
Shyness is an enemy
That few learn to control
Still she is patient
Staying up until the crack of dawn
Eager to be with you and know what's going on
Sometimes what lovers want is hard to get
Because the one you love is scared and will fret
About what they will do and will never forget
Still she will wait
Until you jump over that wall
Of shyness to show compassion
That's s the goal after all
For a girl, like me
But I will wait patiently

Patience is a virtue but sometimes it SUCKS!!! Lol! Trust I'm there in a different way and waiting is the worst feeling sometimes. Great poem, though :)
