An Entire Nation Bows Their Heads

by Unseen Exposure   Apr 18, 2007

An Entire Nation Bows Their Heads-

An entire nation bows their heads-
Some to pray in religious form
Some to remember
Some to forget.
Some to shelter themselves
and some to wish that they may once again, be sheltered.
Some bow their heads and listen
To cry
To hide from reality
To fade away.
Some to understand what they cannot
Some to sympathize
Some to listen.
Some to dream
and think life away.
An entire nation bows their heads-
Together-
No matter race, age, religion-
The hungry, the cold, the lost, the successful, the angry, the scared, the lonesome and the loved.
An entire nation bows their heads-
One Nation Indivisible
With Liberty and Justice for all.

In Remembrance of the massacre at Virginia Tech.

Wow this was so sad.. its very sad to me when it takes a terrible tragedy like that to bring a community/society/country together. If only we could live like that always then some of this madness could be avoided. Nice write and beautiful topic I loved it.
