I think that his poem is very sad and deep and I would like ot write a poe in response to it if you don't mind. THis poem is titled...HOW TO SMILE.

And when a soul, so cold and alone.
Does find its self so far from home.
Ask yourself, my friend, just this.
Would rather have swung and missed?
Then never have swung at all?

I myself have fallen in love,
She's my soul, my gift from above.
But when she's gone and all I have is pain,
I ask myself this...what have I gained?

I gained that feeling of me in her arms,
That security and protection,
That feeling of safety form harm,

Many say it is but to have loved and lost,
I know that it hurst, but that it a small cost,
Pain my friend slowly dies away,
With the passing of time,
With the dawn of every new day.

The pain will slacken bit by bit,
Want to know a secret?
Well this is it.

The love that you felt for that person so fair,
Doesn't just die with time or the pain,
It always stays there.

Don't give up hope,
You know it was worth the while.
Cause one day soon,
You'll remember....
How to smile.
