Couldn't see

by Lette of Darkness   Apr 18, 2007

She ran out the door to hug him and he pushed her away,
She begged and begged him to make him stay.
He told her he couldn't...it couldn't be,
The thing is...he couldn't see.
He didn't want to that was the deal,
That girl that he crushed...she threw up every meal.
Trying to be better for everyone than herself,
She went through many boys but put them all on the shelf.
She became angered at every little thing,
And didn't care what trouble she would bring.
She couldn't take it no she had to see him,
She thought if she seen him she would maybe win,
Win his heart back and she thought she did...they where together.
Together forever...maybe...no...he once again pushed her away...
She ran out the door to hold him tight,
He pushed her off and told her goodnight,
She begged and begged for him not to go away,
She told her that he couldn't stay.
He said things just couldn't be,
Now she realizes after all
One key...
She ran to her room and threw that picture frame,
The glass busted out,
She says to her self "I'm to blame..."
She picked up the glass and put it to her wrist,
And remembered the first time they kissed.
She cut herself deep and blood stated to rush,
And then she remembered how he confessed to her he had a crush.
She cut her self deep again...
More blood ran down her arm,
Then she remembered how he said he would never do her harm.
She began to feel faint and weary,
This story is anything but cheery.
She cut herself for the very last time and she pictured his face,
And thought of how no one would have EVER would have token his place

This is a good poem. Very emotional. Very dramatic. Some parts were a little rocky but over all very good job!
