Summer Nights

by Kaila   Apr 18, 2007

Beautiful smiles,
hot summer days,
sitting by the pool,
waisting my life away.

Ice cold drinks,
beach balls too,
sand on my feet,
while I play with you.

Shivering moonlight,
warm blankets to cover,
hand in hand we lay,
down with each other.

Wake up late,
quick lunch to go,
run around all day,
my body's never slow.

Biking, swimming,
whatever it may be,
I get my exercise in,
by the end you will see.

Late night chats...
only with you,
I'll spend my summer,
only wanting you.

Aww.. this is cute.. the read was really nice.. the short and choppy lines work well.. you did a nice job of getting in so much in such a small space.. the simplicity of it works well too because of the simple sweetness of a summer romance.. great job .. :D
