And so I cry,

for every moment you held me in your arms,
every time you silenced me with your charms,
every breath we took every laugh we shared,
every moment that reminded me of how much you cared.

And i cry,

For all of the things I did wrong,
my heartache and pain has silenced my song,
for the loneliness that is all I now feel,
for the emptiness that is so overwhelmingly real.

I wish I was good enough to be the one for you,
wish I could be perfect and make your dreams come true.
No I am not skinny, I am not much to admire,
but I am the one who will be there long after we retire.

I will support you through any and everything.
If you start to fall I will be your wings.
I have two shoulders for you to cry
my love and loyalty will never die.

I know you do not want someone like me,
opinionated and stubborn and not so pretty,
I try to beautiful I really do,
but I know in myself I am not good enough for you.

And so i still cry now even more then before,
when I lose the nerve to knock on your door,
staining my cheeks and burning my eyes
now all I have left of me are these tears that I cry.

You made me so strong, you built who I am
But now you are gone I will start over again,
I have nothing left no beauty to show,
