So this is Forever

by xx5OUL   Apr 19, 2007

"I'll promise you forever" he earnestly and quietly said,
"forever and a day if you'll come with me to bed."
So she gave up her virginity and he selfishly took
everything she offered, but their safety they overlooked.
So the day she saw that faint pink plus
she held onto him and cried, "how could this happen to us?"
He shoved her away and told her "no more,
I know it's not my baby, you dirty little girl."
So he leaves her alone, cold, and afraid,
burdened with a little baby they both had made.
People talked and they gossiped and they made her life tough,
pointing and laughing at the girl who's knocked up.
"So this is what forever's like" she thought bitterly in labor.
Her blood pressure rises, the baby is born, but the doctors couldn't save her.
Now all's left is a baby with no parent's and she grows up afraid
that her mom loved her daddy, but he just wanted to get laid.
