**Based around the book Terrier by Tamora Pierce.**
I heard a sound
I turned about
Quietly whispered
"Rosto,"
You rose from the shadows
Clad in all black
A creature at your heels
Ha-ha. Of course, my cat.
Red carnation in your hand
You slipped it into mine.
"My Lady, let's take a walk."
You said.
Your hand outreached
I gave you mine
We walked all around the Lower City
And into the Cesspool depths
But all to soon
The light began to fade
And darkness crept in
Pushing out the day
It was now time for us to part ways
For our work would soon begin
And each of was would then again
Be on opposite ends
For you are The Rogue.
And I am a Dog.
And this is where I'll say
Fin.
