Thank You

She was my best friend
I thought until the end
Until he came in to the photograph
All we used to do was laugh
But now we've sobered down
My smile is now a frown
He asked her to be his girl
Now she's his pearl
I'm left behind
She thinks I don't mind
I want to tell him
But that choice would be grim
Lose our friendship
I used to think a guy was just a tip
I've thought about telling him what's on my mind
Leaving my friendship far behind
Now that I've thought about it more
My judgement was very poor
Now I want to thank her
I know, for sure
I'm climbing out of this pit
I've given up on the thought of it
I want our friendship to hold
Because I've found a friendship worth gold

Again, your rhymes seemed a little forced, but it is better than the other one I read. I am glad that you finally understood your friend, and that you were able to be friends again. Keep up the good work, and please don't stop writting. 4/5
