Calm The Storm

by Kait   Apr 19, 2007

A strike of lightning.
A clap of thunder.
Mixed with pouring rain,
The wind begins to howl.
Leaves are scattered across the ground.
The sky turns black.
You run inside and hide yourself.
Hours pass and the sun returns.
A light breeze floats in through the window.
Birds begin singing and animals come out to play.
You leave your hiding place and walk onto the porch.
You sway on the swing and enjoy the weather.
It's just like they say:
"After the storm comes the calm."

    That was so pretty.
i love watching Storms out my window
