Dancing in Time

by CherokeeW   Apr 19, 2007

"Hello my forbidden love in which I have come" I said smiling with an air,
"Hello my dear with your long flowing hair",
He smiles my favorite crooked smile and holds his hands out to me all the while,
I take his hand gently in mine and curl myself in his arms, all away from time,
"You are my only, my one true love",
"You are my lover, from the heavens above",
I smile at him and take him in,
Even if he is forbidden I will never give him,
We stand and dance in slow motion,
As we pledge for each other our hidden devotion.
