Just a Friend

by Seducti0n 0f The Inn0cent   Apr 20, 2007

You want her heart,
but she says "you're just a friend."
She wants to believe this statement,
but she doesn't want her heart broken in the end.

So she goes around sulking,
sad because your not hers.
And when she goes home at night,
her razor is her only cure.

Your the only one who can fix her,
set her mind thinking straight.
So when she goes home at night,
the scars don't recreate.

But yet she still refuses,
refuses to let her guard down.
Her heart is bound with barbed wire,
locked with a key you haven't found.

She's hidden the key,
and sealed her heart up tight.
You can't break the barrier,
without her putting up a fight.

She tries to forget her feelings,
I guess she likes living in denial.
She needs a knight in shinning armor,
to help her reconcile.

She hides her feelings well,
she Barries them down deep.
But I'm sure that you can unleash them,
if onlooking you keep.

So don't believe her when she says,
that "you're just a friend."
Because I know that she wants more,
and it'll be that way in the end.
