You left my heart,
that day you walked out the door.
It's like I was a wave,
and you let me crash upon the shore.

Don't get me wrong though,
I still think about you everyday.
But I was like a hole in a pair of jeans,
and you let me wear down, and fray.

So don't come back,
just say out of my life.
Because there's to much tension between us,
that you could sever it with a knife.

This is for our own good,
even if I still miss you till this day.
But you left my heart,
when you stepped out that door, and walked away.
