An Ever Growing Blur

God graced this world
With so many beautiful things
Like ever blue skies
And a birds pretty wings

The sun in the day
And the moon at night
The vast ocean
Oh what a marvelous sight

The majestic green trees
And their autumn colored leaves
But I have one more thing
Something no one else receives

I have a girl
That makes me smile
I have a girl
That makes me want to go the extra mile

She makes me laugh
When all seems lost
A love like hers
Could have no cost

I awake to the thought of her
I go to sleep with her dream
And whenever she leaves
I just want to scream

She'll never quite know
How much I love her
The truth will remain
