Time

Time does not stand still
For anyone who is here
This is very true
From the beginning

So we must continue
To look to the future
Because time cannot return
And the past we must not live

So time moves on
To make a new
Whether we want it too
Or we rather it not

The time that has passed
From the days gone by
Will never be returned
For us to recall

It was very painful see
The times fly by so fast
Knowing what could have been
From the life that you have chosen

Time does not stand still
For anyone who is here
For our lives will continue
With or without you

But I rather it be with you
Then without you this much is true
I can only hope and pray
For time to continue
With you in it

    I loved the ending of this poem, Scott!
    To be with the one you love is what makes life worthwhile, this is so very true.
    No gold or money could ever replace that.
