Lullaby

by The Mr Simon   Apr 20, 2007

The can-dle-light
Shine's through-the-night
The day's gone by
No need to cry
It's time-to-sleep.

The stars-are-out
No need-to-pout
God's by your side
Arms open wide
It's time-to-sleep.

* I was staying at my uncle's house and he had a 1 year old baby that would always cry at night, so I decided to write a lullaby to sing to him (that's why there's hyphens). Hope to be able to sing this to my own child someday.

It's a delightful read, indeed. Perhaps it could be better if I heard it sung by you? :)

Lol thats the kind of thing that always happens to me - like i'll come up with a great april fools day trick the day after, or a retort about and hour later. the lullaby's really sweet.
