Loves Cost

by Lonesomeme   Apr 20, 2007

The Beauty of innocence.
An untimely demise, sold singly into the world.
Love pays any cost to the uncertain shyness
Thoughts bundled into gift baskets
Lingering fumes, sweet...but its an acquired scent
The scent renders tears that words never could
Pre-matured gifts are the false givings
Soon wilting away,
Nothing permanent would pay for roses.

I really like you style of poetry its all shorter but very sweet in its own unique way. You portrayed this love poem very nicely and showed great emotions throughout it. Well done on such a short beautiful piece. ~mel
