Look in the Mirror

by XSugarSexSuicideX   Apr 20, 2007

When you look in the mirror
And don't like what you see,
Then you'll know firsthand
What it's like to be me.
Ugly black hair,
Blemished olive skin,
Big, dark brown eyes,
That are sad from within.
Nobody close,
Sitting all alone,
Falling in love,
But sleeping at home.
When you look in the mirror
And don't like what you see,
Then you'll know firsthand
What it's like to be me.
A razorblade on the table,
The razor nowhere to found,
A slow sad line of blood
Dripping from arm to ground.
A stream of emotions,
A bloody kiss on my arm,
The ones who had once lived here,
Now leave me to come to harm.
When you look in the mirror
And don't like what you see,
Then you'll know firsthand
What it's like to be me.
The pains of death,
The fears of drugs,
The essence of suicide,
My vision fogs.
The lurch I feel
When I think of you,
My blood runs cold
And my lips turn blue.
When you look in the mirror
And don't like what you see,
Then you'll know firsthand
What it's like to be me.

There's a little false information here...hopefully more than I point out:

line 5 should read 'soft, silky black hair' and you put 'ed' instead of 'less' after 'blemish' on line 6.

Don't ever let anyone tell you you aren't beautiful in every way. Including yourself.
