I wanted to hold you longer,
not to let go.
But the song would end,
you would forget me.

You held me tight,
I could hear your heartbeat.
Together, was me and you,
but I can't show.

I can't show my feelings,
you are beneath me.
I cannot let people among us,
let them see you and me.

But I wish that could change,
I don't want to be like this.
People can't you see?
I have changed.

I'm ready to hold someone,
this time for real.
Beneath or above.
It don't matter.

    5/5 very cute and beautiful poem. its very hard i feel like i have been there before.

    if your still holding on, keep fighting for it. nothing else should matter.

    if you have let go and it hurts, try to be with friends more to keep your mind off of it.

    i loved the poem and how it all fit in nicely. excellent read.
