Something I Didn't Do

He's gone now
This time for good
All because of something that was misunderstood.

I tried to explain, but he didn't give me a chance
He wouldn't make eye contact
Not even a glance.

He says he loves me
So why has he gone so fast
Maybe i didn't make an effort to make our relationship last.

The feelings for him, I can't explain
So many emotions
So much pain.

So what should I do, now that he's gone
Maybe I'll put fourth an effort
and try to move on.
